59 Halstead - Gorgeous single bedroom with private bathroom

Perfect for me. I wanted a reasonable priced room for one night with late check in and early leaving the next morning.

Very nice people who run this accommodation, extremely clean room and bathroom, very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Nothing to dislike!

The host was lovely I was greeted at the door,, when we needed directions,, Rachel met me again to return an item id left,, the room was really cute & I was helped with my suitcase

I felt like the mattress needed to be changed,, when I got on it I went through.. I dk if it was because I used hot water in the kettle,, it just tasted a bit off when I had a cup of tea,, it was a bit of a walk to town from where the guesthouse was

There was no breakfast but I was not expecting this as the landlady works. Some muesli, cereals, etc. would have made all the difference. Nevertheless, I do not want to detract from what was, overall, a very pleasant stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the landlady and she is an extremely nice person, to boot. As a lone traveler, this accommodation met my needs exactly.

A small table for my laptop would have been very helpful, but it would have to be small. This was no big deal. Otherwise, I have no significant complaints, quite the opposite.

Main thing for me was that it was spotlessly clean. The room was small, but everything was there. Very good location with absolutely no traffic noise. Off street parking. No breakfast provided, but that didn't bother me as I needed to make an early start. I will probably need to stay there again in the next couple of months.
