Location. Close to Rother Valley.

Cleanliness. Dirty kitchen and bed linen had been used before.

Quiet area. Close to Public Transport links. Sufficient on street parking. Nicely furnished.

Lack of information provided regarding wi fi log in, hot water boiler and other features that we didn’t use. A visitor information sheet would have been appreciated. The electric shower didn’t work unless you held the on off switch in all of the time, which was difficult when washing. The bathroom extractor fan cover fell in to the bath when the switch cord was pulled. We didn’t have hot water on the first morning until we had worked out how the control panel worked.

The lock on the door needs to be replaced, also only 2 towels for 3 people wasn’t great.

Have stayed at this property several times. Always very clean. Unfortunately this time it did smell of weed. The owner explained the previous occupants had smoked cannabis and they were struggling to get rid of the smell. The single beds are very comfortable and it is quiet.

The owner was very difficult to get hold of and it did smell quite bad on this occasion. I wish the property had a freezer and also a washing machine. The kingsize bed is not very comfortable.

Very good value for money and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Always replied promptly to questions.

The house wasn’t 100% clean, but generally okay. We also had an issue with our car being broken into on the street out front. Someone smashed a window and stole some belongings. Not the hosts fault at all (obviously), but would recommend taking all valuables into the house with you.

The beds were uncomfortable & the duvets were not warm enough for the winter.

Very good price; all necessary facilities; reasonably modern interior; well-kept / maintained, clean. Reasonably convenient for tram or bus into city centre.

Would've been a bit nicer if it wasn't stone cold on arrival, and if there were instructions provided for working the thermostat / timer; fortunately I did work it out and it didn't take too long to warm up.
