Location, beautiful old building

Polyester duvet cover was really uncomfortable...

The location was great in the centre of Totnes, the space was very relaxing although we were in a town it felt like a city break. we will come back, the cafe staff were lovely.

Nothing

The room had a lot of character. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The coffee in the cafe below was great, and Emma was very helpful.

The internet was quite weak.

It was a lovely comfortable stay. The staff were lovely, especially Emma who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! ☺️

Everything was lovely, but we had some trouble accessing the free Wi-Fi so we just ended up hotspotting from our phones.

No ensuite

Great location in centre of Totnes, overlooking the high street. I was the only guest there at the time which I enjoyed. Lovely spacious room and lived having the sofa/ armchairs and additional space.

It was difficult to find the keysafe on arrival as it was hidden behind garden furniture. A clear sign on the door would be really helpful. The place is right next to a church, with Bells going off every 15mins! Not ideal if your a light sleeper. I think if the place was full of guests, sharing the toilet and bathroom would become tricky timewise.

The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The church bells ring every 15 min,24 hours a day.. I would ask the church to stop the ringning of the bells at night.

A beautifully individual room brimming with historic charm and considerate little touches, overlooking the church yard. The bed and sheets were very comfortable and the seating area was perfect for cosying up with a book. And all of Totnes’ lovely shops and restaurants are right on the doorstep.

Even the church bells added to the charm!

Room was lovely, comfy bed, toiletries and there was a fridge, kettle and cutlery crockery.

Location was great, but the downside was although being next to the lovely church, I was disturbed by the bells! Luckily there were come complimentary ear plugs!
