I loved the quirkiness and the style. And the location just by the church

There was nothing I didn't like.

Loved the croissants and coffee

Found it hard to open windows and it was very hot due to August hot spell , so room got very warm . We were worried about leaving the windows open as it said pigeons might come in . We found the bath /shower attachment a little difficult to use , although it looks beautiful. Toilet seat wasn’t comfortable and we ran out of toilet paper but I guess we could have asked or bought more. Room felt a little dusty , especially behind furniture, but generally ok . We hadn’t realised there wasn’t a TV , but that was due to not reading the information properly before we booked.

I loved the period decor of the room, extremely comfy king size bed, beautiful views, central location, friendly and helpful manager and fantastic cafe staff.

A glitch on booking.com's behalf meant that the door code wasn't sent to me, but Emma was immediately contactable to sort that out.

Ideal location but the communal bathroom was not ideal and it would have been nice to have had a welcome pack with tea coffee milk etc in n the room itself

The room was lovely and had lots of character.

Unusual features such as the copper bath, spacious room and self contained bathroom

Check out time on the Booking.com information showed 10am but room info pamphlet stated 11am.

Delicious croissants and coffee, very friendly staff, cosy, welcoming

Great central location. Lots of art in my room and throughout the building and nice pieces of furniture. Friendly host who was receptive to feedback and welcoming café staff (where free coffee and croissant was available in the morning). Room had a fridge and plates for snacks and drinks (much appreciated)

Blackout blind needed. Street lights leaked in at night. Guests need to be aware they have to pay for parking but car park is close by. An eye mask was provided but I find it uncomfortable to sleep with these.
