Quirky, individual rooms. Space to sit and relax in the evening. Directly on High Street. Crockery and cutlery available in rooms so we could have takeaways.

Lovely room, spacious

Being next to a church with them bells. But not the rooms fault more ours.

Good location.

No WiFi. Beds not very comfy. Shared bathroom outside room which I missed in the description. There were pigeons who came, stayed and pooped in the room. There is a sign warning of this if you open the windows but we didn’t realize it would be so true.

Simple, but as promised. Nice. Very helpful.

My room had 5 plates that I didn't need. There was a kettle some green tea bags which I like but not one cup! how cruel is that

The staff in the cafe below who oversee the guest house, were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, it's an old ramshackle house, and with a shared bathroom. They had a fridge and kettle in the room, but if you want all the stuff that the Hotel chains supply, this isn't for you. It's idiosyncratic and quirky. We were fortunate to have the top two rooms and no one else staying there, we found it ideal.

There were some minor things but we spoke to the incredibly helpful managers and they sorted them out. Lovely people. The local Church Bells ring every 15 mins throughout the night, but I liked it. again, not for everyone!
