Oak House in Mid Wales with Log Burner By Seren Short Stays

He house was lovely, kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Nice yard with comfortable garden furniture. Ideal position, walk to town.

Good facilities with well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. Very clean.

Nothing....it was convenient for our restaurant visit

Dated furnishings , poor shower facilities. A tired property. No logs for wood burner. Description of property does not say it is in a cul-de-sac of poor quality housing.

We've staying in the property before and would stay again if we're in the area so enough said other than the fireplace was a useful feature on a horribly wet and cold January weekend

There were a few more steps ahead of the booking that were a pain such as having to provide photo ID and credit card details to pay for any 'damages'. For GDPR's sake I'd like to think these were deleted afterwards.

Location was very close to the town - 5 minute walk. It was very quiet, very relaxing and parking for 1 car outside the house was great

Very odd decor - sofa's very old, dated and felt dirty. A mixture of modern decor with lots of very dated old fashioned furniture. Would be good to have a log stack in the garden as only one bag of logs were left (and went in one night) 2 toilet rolls were left ! Had to buy our own (we stayed 2 nights) Have stayed in many places and majority of the time a pint of milk is left or Welsh cakes - this house felt soulless - no human touch and it is obviously rented out just to make money hence one bag of logs and minimum toilet rolls! Garden could do with a tidy up

Home was perfect, comfortable just what i needed.

I have a gripe that the cleaning bill is 1/3 of the cost. I paid for 10 hours of cleaning at £12 an hour. I spent 2 hours of cleaning myself. I only used one room. I cant blame the owners only Booking.com. The home was left spotless.
