quiet area . handy for shops.

dog managed to escape from garden. kettle not very clean and worked intermittently. soap dispenser in bathroom empty. no hand towel in kitchen.

Lovely location. Property was well looked after.

Great location, short walking distance to shops, etc. Accommodation had a cosy homely vibe. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. The area was very quiet at night. The heating was on a timer and it was lovely and warm when we got there, which was a nice surprise. TV even had Netflix working, which was a nice bonus after a big day out on the rainy hills. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing, really. Parking is a bit tight for bigger vehicles, although we were ok. My friend didn't like that the shower had a curtain, but I was happy as the shower itself worked great. ;-)

The house was very comfortable and has a lovely homely atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped.

The bathroom and downstairs toilets needed a little updating - toilet seats were loose and the downstairs one would be better with a bolt.

£114 for cleaning is far too much as the property was not spotless. Tell the cleaner that sweet wrappers and cobwebs count as part of the cleaning process.

Oak House is the perfect home away from home. Cosy, with lots to keep us entertained and a really well appointed kitchen.
