Chic 2 Bed Near Alton Towers, Polar Bears, Peak District

Cottage was fantastic, great location and and the owner left a thoughtful gift. Really close to Alton Towers. Highly recommend.

The barn was lovely and clean. The welcome hamper was so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed.

The drain right outside the barn smelt so bad that every time we opened the front door, the smell would come in. The only other thing was that we had problems with the key safe.

great location, and great facilities / equipment in the cottage. You could easily cook a full Sunday lunch for 6 in the kitchen. Welcome hamper is a nice touch.

downstairs toilet door doesn't fully open, simple fix though, just needs 5mm planing off the bottom.

Brilliant location. Welcome hamper and toiletries were a nice touch. Very comfortable beds. Everything needed for a short break.

hamper / cleanliness

too many ornaments meant lack of shelf / table space - difficult to get to window to open it. Toilet door scrapes on ground - means you dont open it fully and it awkward. Front door lock -opens easily from outside - but it is awkward to get working when unlocking from inside - to the point you start to wander if you are going to get out ! sure its a minor fix
