Mattress not the most Comfortable

Spacious upstairs and downstairs. Washing machine available. Closets and dresser in each room. Has downstairs toilet. Spacious lounge room with dining table. Decent size rooms. 2 parking a spots on own driveway.

Outside bins were already full. Bed-frame was broken had to sleep on mattress on floor. No response when contacting customer service. 4 guests but only 3 towels provided. Not enough cutlery. Shower spray wets the floor.

On the day of arrival, we were informed that the house shown in the listing was no longer available because previous guests extended their stay. We were moved to a different house, which had only one double bed instead of the two promised, and none of the rooms matched the photos in the listing. This is not an acceptable excuse - solving a problem they created themselves is not a “solution” for guests. Communication was extremely poor. During the phone call, the staff were rude, constantly interrupted, and did not allow us to explain our concerns, insisting they didn’t understand what the issue was. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong access code for the keys and had to wait for someone to come and let us in. The contact number listed on Booking did not work - we had to call back the number they previously used. Additionally, the property requires a deposit, which is only mentioned in one of the last photos in the listing (out of 41), with no amount specified. This was only communicated after the non-refundable payment was made. Getting the deposit back required multiple follow-ups and was returned only 5 days after our stay. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below expectations.

The decor and vibe of the living room and bedroom spaces was very pleasant. I appreciated how close the house was to mainline shops in Aldershot and to the railway station. In addition, the staff were very lovely and allowed me an early-check in on short notice.

The downstairs toilet lock is a bit faulty and did not unlock. So you need to be a bit careful if you are by yourself otherwise you may get locked in. Moreover the garden door outside is very difficult to close once opened so just be aware of that.
