La Mansardina Beccheria Central Apartment 1 double bedroom, 1 sofa bed

Super bien situé, nous avons été agréablement surpris par cet appartement de charme. Bien que notre séjour est été court nous aurions passé quelques nuits supplémentaires avec grand plaisir. Je recommande ce logement grandement. Rien à redire

I loved the aesthetic of the attic apartment and the building in general. The location was perfect, right in the center of the old town, with many restaurants bars and shops around, and just a 3 minute walk to the Lucca summer festival stage. The kitchen was very well-equipped. Bed was comfortable and the AC in the bedroom was appreciated. Enjoyed the sofa and portable AC in the living room. Good wi-fi. I felt safe as a solo female traveller as the door had a large metal bar latch.

Climbing four flights of stairs was tough with a 20kg luggage, but it was a small price to pay :) Kettle was dirty, I used a pot to heat water instead. Sometimes the key to the apartment wouldn't turn, but I eventually got the hang of it. No shower gel or hand wash provided. No full-body mirror.

Ideal location in the heart of Lucca, responsive host, well stocked apartment.

If you do not like going up the stairs - it might be not for you. Entrance lock might need a check - took some time to open it and get used to how it works.

Centrally located next to main piazza with easy access to cafes and restaurants. Bedroom had an effective air conditioner.

Brilliant location, right in the middle of town with ample space for two travellers. Arranging an early check-in was very helpful. A must-do experience is to cycle around the walls of this lovely city.

Warning that the apartment was on the fourth floor meaning that on arrival (and less so on departure) that getting luggage to (& from) the apartment was difficult - especially as we arrived in the middle of the day!

Amazing location. Could not have been more central. Bed very comfortable and everything clean

A little noisy in the early morning with bins being collected etc but to be expected with such a central location.

Lovely apartment, excellent location. Very good for 2 persons, well equipped. Forth floor, so noise from the streets did not disturb. Excellent Finnish Fiskars knives in the kitchen. Strong recommendation.

Dish washer didn't work, it needs to be fixed.
