2 Ipanema Umhlanga Beach garden unit next door to the Oyster Box Hotel

Location is great 👍 100m Walk to the restaurants and nightlife. Short walk to the beach. Appreciated the big bag of potato chips ✌🏻

No soap or shampoo. No bottled water.only tap water in an open jug in the fridge.(you could smell the chlorine from the municipal tap water. For the price I think a 5L mineral/ filtered water could be included.

The location amazing 5 min walk to the beach. The complex pool and braai area amazing. Everything is a walking distance the shops, the restaurants, bars. You don't actually need to use the car for anything. I do recommend. Team and security very helpful. Unit very clean and everything was very practical. loved it

No tv channels, thin curtains - light is not blocked out at night, no sea view - too many steep stairs outside and inside - not sure what “next door to the Oyster Box” implies?

Location equipment furnished to satisfaction

Staff was friendly. Room had aircon. Water was hot and water pressure was good. Place was clean when we checked in.

Substandard at best. No fan or aircon in the TV room. No TV on the bedroom. I was first told there is no domestic to clean, then was msged for someone to clean 2 days before I checked out. Check in generally us after 2 on w I paid recueved a msg its after 6pm. Then on the day I was told I can check in after 4pm. Kitchen and bathrooms are extreme outdated. The single beds were such poor quality that we never used them. The main bedroom the bed was also poor quality. The couches had no cushions and an ugly grey sheet is thrown over. It hurts ur back when u sit there. The bathrooms are old and ugly. The curtains were dusty and dirty. The one in the lounge was thorn. It's wasn't nice for me because there were trucks on the road behind us constantly and ongoing construction in and around the complex of which we were not aware. The main beach where everyone swims is a 40min walk from this place. Not as close as they make it seem. The side gate is locked at 6pm and ur inconvenienced if you dont have a car u need to walk around at night using the main gate only.
