2 Ipanema Umhlanga Beach garden unit next door to the Oyster Box Hotel

Nothing stood out.

Scott was accommodating in letting us check in early and when I mentioned about dirty linen and pillows he sent over a member of staff to replace these which was appreciated. That said the general cleanliness of the place was very poor from sticky floors to a kitchen with a strong food smell. Poor quality linen and very stained mattresses and sofa. Outside area is very run down and not a place to sit and enjoy. On a busy road so very noisy. It was not a comfortable stay.

Pillows was uncomfortable but overall lovely stay,

The property is spacious. The location is perfect, you can walk to the beach, grocery store, restaurants.

The cupboards were dirty, some dishes packed inside not washed. The windows don't open due to broken handle and a cable used to closed them. Couches are covered with torn couch cover and torn flees blanket. Walls had stains, headboard by the bed is dirty. Curtains poorly hung up. Black bedding on the bed and colourful towels are used. Guests need light bedding and towels so we can see dirt easily.

Everything .it's central and safe

Only thst it doesn't have a bathroom on the ground floor

Location is great, close to amenities. A bit of a walk to get tow the beach but still ok
