2 Ipanema Umhlanga Beach garden unit next door to the Oyster Box Hotel

It was convenient for our needs although weekends are noisy due to boy racers in the area. Umhlanga Rocks is not the quaint village it used to be but still we had an enjoyable time. Property is comfortable although in need of some TLC. Water is very hot, fab WiFi Brad is a very attentive host and would recommend just on his hospitality

Property is “tired” in areas and needs some maintenance but despite this, it was still very comfortable for what we needed.

The location, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, good communication with the host

No door between the main bedroom & the bathroom - the bed looks straight onto the toilet. Bath leaks. Attention to detail - missing door knobs, broken window locks, bed missing a leg, broken bedside lamp, broken curtain - all of which have been communicated to the host.

Hot water at any given te, wi-fi connection great, the apartment is big enough, braai stand was a cherry on top, comfortable beds, a walking distance to the beach and beautiful views

The attitude of the host upon my concerns of the accommodation. It's a self catering accommodation, but no proper pots to cook, pots with no handles and no proper lids, full ants everywhere, dirty linen, curtains ,couches, towels. No bath mats, mops, broom! And being disrespected by the host... no matter what the cost of accommodation is, no one deserves to stay in an accommodation that is not clean.
