Spathes Luxury Private Pool Villa with Sea View in Kefalonia

From the thoughtful welcome to the kind farewell, I had a beautiful stay. Emilia and Panagis made themselves available as needed and were so helpful when my luggage arrived 2 days late. The furniture gives so much character to the home and the view is outstanding. As an early bird, I had coffee on the terrace while I enjoyed the stars and sound of the sea. In the afternoon, the olives and wine were delicious! I did go during my Spring Break which was very off season. As a result, everything was closed and I did more cooking for myself than I’d hoped. The olive oil helped with this. My only recommendation would be to add a few more spices to the kitchen.

Property is beautiful and comfortable and has everything you need. Breathtaking views, a few minutes from one of the best beaches on the island. Panagis greeted us and explained everything, and Emilia answered all our questions and gifted us some wine and some food on arrival. They agreed to a last minute request for a late check out which was really kind. We would love to come back again and would definitely recommend staying here

Amazing property, the terrace with pool, daybed and everything else is just so dreamy and perfect for a relaxing day. Very nice restaurants nearby and the beach is a 5min walk away, and perfect beach for a morning stroll. The host was super nice, got to try some of the olives he grows. Interior design is very thought out and beautiful. Would come back anytime!

We didn’t arrive until after midnight and we were met by Nicholas, a really lovely man, brother of owner. Panagis (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful, said he was available 24/7 for any questions, great service. We had a truly wonderful time at Spathes Suites, it is a beautiful villa with stunning views, the bespoke wooden items in the villa are really beautiful. Below are some suggestions in our view that would have made our stay even better. I am sure that had we asked, Panagis would have advised/sorted things out for us, it’s just in our view better to have an instruction book for the white goods etc, if the tap water is potable, what to do about any rubbish, when the pool cleaner comes, when the villa is cleaned and the fact that you can watch Netflix (should you wish too) We like to cook when we are away and there were no bbq tongs and the knives could do with a sharpen! We had to buy shampoo and shower gel, there was plenty of hair conditioner and body lotion. A rubbish bin in the bathroom would be useful and a box of tissues would be too. A visitor book so that restaurant suggestions and places to visit could be made. (There was a note book that had restaurant names in it, we didn’t find this until later) A pair of binoculars for guests to use would be great as there are some great views and birds of prey that can be seen. Not having the above did not detract from our stay and we hope to visit Spathes Suites again one day. Kefalonia is a really beautiful island and the people are super friendly, we will definitely visit again.
