L'alloggio era trascurato, abbiamo dovuto preparare il divano letto nonostante avessimo prenotato per 4. La doccia aveva lo scarico che non defluiva bene. Inoltre il condizionatore funzionava solo nel soggiorno e non nella camera da letto matrimoniale.

The apartment is huge….with the biggest bathroom ( complete with washing machine) we have seen in our travels. It’s ideally located in the old town, close to the railway station and to cafes and restaurants. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and there was a lot of storage space. Communication with the hosts was good and access to keys was easy with a comprehensive manual about the apartment sent via WhatsApp.

The air conditioning units in both the living room and bedroom were efficient but at times were very noisy. The apartment overlooks the cafes, and although this was no problem for us, it was very noisy of an evening. Because there is a washing machine, it would be a nice touch to leave some washing powder in addition to the dishwashing liquid provided . Having insect spray/ repellent with you is a good idea for this apartment as mosquitoes were a problem.

Very charming apartment and really at a great location. It has everything you need, including a washer, which makes a great place to include as a strategic stop after or before places like Firenze and Pisa. Very easy process to interact with the owner who communicates well and is honest. It is right at an entrance of Lucca which makes for a perfect spot to reach the train station as well as explore the inner parts of the city by walking.

Nothing to complain. The wifi password is a bit long and convoluted, but it is understandable as the owner might be concerned with more protective measures.

Location was perfect to visit Lucca and arrive and leave by train. Also close for bike hire. Very large apartment and can hear noise at night from street below. Although we slept well
