Cosy home near Port of Hull

Really big space, lovely features, access to a variety of TV, comfy beds, clean, big bathroom. The table and fires are a lovely set piece for couples or older families! But with small children the glass dining table and 2 fires weren't ideal, but that was on us not looking at the pictures in detail!

It would have been useful to know the steepness and narrowness of the stairs in the description.

So when we arrived we were a little shocked that this property was in an urban area which raised some concerns as a family. Turns out we were just in an area where everyday people do their best to live a life #normal everyday working class people . We felt warm , cosy and safe . Honestly never judge a book by its cover . The property is close to amenities. 27 mins to the sea side , Withernsea , an hour away from York , close to Hollywood bowl , cinema’s , Rock up hull climbing centre etc etc . We rammed our bank holiday full . The owners were lovely and answered every Question we needed answering . The internet went down during our stay , we knew it was a long short to be fixed over bank holiday weekend . The owners gave us a late check out which was so relaxed , also they have given us 15% off our next stay . Sad to be leaving and yes we will be back

I waited over two hours in front of the house to receive the access code. He lied that when the cleaning company was finished he would send me the code, but there was no cleaning company. I didn't feel safe. The street is full of gypsies, many near the house who gather in groups at night and sit in front of the house. He listens to loud music in the car at 1 o'clock at night. When I entered the house there was an unbearable old smell. The fridge smelled very strongly of vinegar, there are no curtains in the kitchen, you can see everything in the house. The stairs are very steep. I asked him to return some of the money to get another accommodation, but he didn't want to. I booked for a week, but after a day I left the house and lost the money too.

Great location. House was clean and tidy. Heating worked well.

Spacious room and good kitchen and washing machine facilities.

There was no heating or hot water in the property till the owner came and fixed the next morning at 11 am There was no lights in main hallway from from entrance and bathroom main light There were cut finger/toe nails on the floor and stained bed sheets
