Riad Soleil D'hiver And SPA

Breakfast was OK. Good coffee. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The staff were very kind.

The Riad Soleil is advertised as a spa hotel. In my opinion, this is very misleading. There is a square type of pool on the ground floor of the Riad. It is approximately one and a half metres square. This is the swimming pool! There is no way you could swim in it. I believe it is also the jacuzzi and maybe the hot tub, although the water was cold. Also, you are in full view of everyone in the Riad as this is near the main entrance. There is a small sauna room which we were offered that takes 3 hours to heat up. They also offered me a free hamam - the trouble is, you always feel it's not going to be free and somehow they will exhort a tip from you if you accept.

Staff was excellent, especially Muhamed.

Too small bathroom, don't have space for my legs, but in general everything is perfect

A space heater in the breakfast area would have been a good idea for cold mornings

It was very clean and it smelt so nice. Staff are like family, they go above and beyond for any request. It really warmed my heart that everyone was so kind to help me with my husband’s birthday surprise. All of the staff especially the front desk (Zacharia), the manager, Mohammed and everyone not mentioned here, I thank you all.

It is a bit far from the square and Medina about 25 minute walk and the location is a bit dodgy

Marrakech is a strange and charming experience at the same time. The days spent at the are proof of this. When we arrived at our destination, we never imagined that behind that small door there was our Riad, perhaps for the expectations we had received from the photos, not denied once we crossed the threshold. The property is close to the center but in a very quiet side street. City life starts around 10am and ends very late so walking in back streets is not dangerous either. At the Riad we were greeted with great friendliness and traditional tea. The rooms are basic, the cleaning is daily and accurate. Breakfast: mostly sweet and composed of traditional products is quite substantial and served directly at the table on their terrace. In the evening we found it particularly relaxing to lay on the sun loungers on the terrace while sipping mint tea served with traditional sweets (paid service) , we would like to thank abdeljalil and all the staff for their care

Perfect and beautiful Riad!! Friendly staff and very helpful. I loved that they always acknowledged me when walking past. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will return for sure next time I’m in Marrakech
