"Great location and price"

It was quite noisy (we had the windows open because it was so hot) but that’s because it’s the town centre. No wi fi

"Poor"

The Beds were comfortable

General state of the property was poor. There was no WiFi, we asked the host and got no response. The tv didn't work, we contacted the host and got no response. We tried to turn on the AC unit, it didn't work and was hanging off the wall with screws out and propped up with a little table to stop it falling off the wall. The shower went from ice cold to scalding with no in-between, then it ran out of water. There was only 3 of us there, it sleeps 7/8 so dont plan on all getting washed on the same day. The garden views, aren't really garden views unless they meant belmarsh prison gardens type view at the back.

"Awful - avoid at all costs!"

It was central in Huddersfield - that's where the positives finished!

On entering and getting up to the second floor, we found that the fire door had been ripped out of the wall and was hanging out, unable to be closed, and therefore would do nothing to stop a fire spreading to an apartment with no other exit. The apartment door next to the fire door was covered in brown stains which looked worryingly like dried blood. The apartment itself had a very unpleasant smell. The heater in the lounge area had fallen out of the wall. The duvet cover in the bedroom had lots of hair on it. During the 5 minutes we were in the apartment, someone rang the intercom 3 times but when we answered nobody spoke. We messaged the apartment owner saying that we felt unsafe and advised that we would not be staying so asked for a refund but we have been ignored.

"Couldn't get inside. Awful communication"

We didn't get inside so nothing on this occasion

The lockbox code given to me was wrong so we couldn't get inside. I tried calling the host repeatedly for 45 minutes and sending messages and got no response. I contacted Booking com who offered to help. They couldn't contact the host either so we had to find alternative accommodation which cost more money. At 11.30pm.at night, the host finally replied to a text asking if I had tried a different code (that I had not been given previously). No apology or other form of communication. I'm still waiting for a refund. So I will not be booking this property again.

"Terrible unfortunately"

Nothing

Door was open on arrival , dirty bedding , non existent customer services . Had Travelled 6 hours to get there and had to find alternative accommodation. Still waiting on a refund

"Don't even think about it."

Door to the apartment was smashed in with the handle broken off and a knife left at the scene. Apartment had food items left by somebody before us. There was nobody on site to help. Expected us to wait over an hour before someone would come and try to sort it out. The building itself stank of stale beer and the whole place felt very unsafe. Been trying to get a refund but having no joy... had to book another hotel at our expense.

"Poor communication and dirty :( missed potential"

Excellent location, centre of town. Quirky lay out of flat is fabulous. So much missed potential here!

Booked as attending a funeral with family. booked for 3 people as the layout suggested it would accomodate us well. Request to check in early was gracefully accepted, then they forgot they said yes and lied to booking.com saying they never agreed, I showed booking.com the proof. Locked outside for hours because of this, thank God it wasn't raining. When I got in the place was filthy, hadn't been cleaned, I wasn't sure if guests were still there so left and called them. someone said they'd call me back, they didn't so I called Booking.com who chased them and then they got back to me. Had to wait again while it got cleaned. reminded them we were there for a funeral so don't have time for this need to get ready. They kindly provided an unfurnished room so we could get changed. but we couldn't shower or freshen up properly which was the whole point of asking for the early check in after an overnight coach from London. Got ready and returned after 1st part of funeral, this mess up meant we couldn't collect our disabled dad and get him to the 1qst part of the funeral. When we got back, wasn't hoovered, hairs in the bed, no towels in the room then we found clean towels in a downstairs wardrobe (why would they be there and not laid out in each room as standard?) ....when I wrote to them in the app about dirt no reply. thank God it was only 1 night. Radiator fell off the wall as I walked past it touching it briefly. And cleaner away as overheard saying "it always happens". stains on sheets. panels falling off furniture in kitchen and bed. bathroom not cleaned at all so we didn't use it at all. toilet dirty and clearly not cleaned either. filth everywhere. It needs a PROFESSIONAL DEEP CLEAN!!!! A shame because it has so much potential
