USLocation, location, location. It was close to shops, restaurants, and the West Gate Mall. I was able to visit various parts of Oxford University during the morning or afternoon and still have time to work virtually. It was only a 10-minute walk to get to a river cruise on the Thames. And the hosts were very responsive and helpful.
The bathroom was just very small (for my size). And the small fridge didn't seem to keep things cold (but I'm not sure if that means I keep my fridge at a different temperature at home).

There was a slightly complicated system for getting in, through an outer gate and then a door key; it wasn't totally clear, but I telephoned the host and they helped. The room was very small, but perfectly adequate.
GBThe location is fantastic just a pleasant short walk to both the city center and the train station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring. It’s one of the few highlights of the stay.
The room was far from clean, with dust everywhere and basic amenities like toilet paper and hand soap not replenished during our 3-night stay, we had to buy our own, which was frustrating for a short trip. The noise from the upstairs neighbors was extreme; every footstep, conversation, toilet flush, and shower sounded as if they were happening inside our room, making it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. While the place is budget-friendly, small but essential touches like providing two mugs for two people or ensuring enough hand soap and toilet roll for the duration of the stay wouldn’t have cost much but would have made a huge difference. It felt like the owners didn’t prioritize even the most basic guest comforts, which is a shame because these issues could have been easily fixed with just a little more care and attention.
GBA great wee studio. Very compact with all your basics covered. A beautiful location beside the river . Very quiet and really close to all amenities. Walking distance from train station, shopping centre, town centre and all main attractions .
