We arrived and after viewing the property we left, and booked in to alternative accommodation.

There was nothing about the apartment that made us want to stay there, it was nothing like the pristine pictures on the booking site. The headboards were dirty with white "bits" all over it and hair on the bed, replacement bedding was shabby and old, there were dirty shoes in the wardrobe. Under the sofa "sheet", the sofa was stained plus stains on the footstools. The "kitchen" cupboards were a mess with mixed up unmatched crockery and leftovers from previous tenants. The lamp shade was stained and no bulb in the lamp! The coffee table was broken, also broken and un-grouted floor tiles in the main area and stains on the walls.

You pay for the location, room needs some work inside but comfortable bed and fantastic location

The flat was great. The location is sensational. Beautiful views from the window right in the centre of Portofino looking at the bay. Lovely place to stay.

Ok. So when we arrived we were blown away by the place. It’s gorgeous. But. There was nothing there, no coffee, tea, not even a bottle of water. There was not a shop open in town (we were there out of season). There were a lot of lightbulbs missing (?) Then after the first night there was drilling either side of us as they prepared for upcoming season. It was raining and we couldn’t possibly stay indoors, the house was shaking. We called the host who was very gracious and refunded our second night. Obviously that was not their fault. I would have no hesitation going back again during the season. It’s a beautiful place!

location and view , anything else was super horrible

small shower, almost all electric socits are not working, light bulbs are all not working except for 1 in the bathroom and one on top of the bed.....
