Lo staff non riesce a comunicare in inglese e all' arrivo non volevano darci la camera, già pagata, perché incapaci di vedere nel sistema l' avvenuto pagamento. La barca dell' escursione verso il whalesharks point era scomoda e disagevole e il motore emanava gas di scarico insopportabili per chi era a bordo

Perfect spot to start and end whale shark tour. New and clean. Good choices of local food and fresh fish. Pretty outlook through the Bougainvilleas when high tide. Quick return on laundry.

It was close to the whale shark tour.

There was nothing around to do, or see, or eat. They were not accommodating. The food in the area was disgusting. The power went out. Gave no updates on when it might be back on. Just shrugged their shoulders. I asked about food and they said no food and made no attempt to help get some while she sat there sucking on chicken bones. When the power finally did come on I went to order something to take back to my room and I was told I could not eat in my room I had to sit outside. I'm a grown man, I'm paying for this room. I don't need to be told where I can eat. And the excuse was it's dirty. And it's all cash in the area. And they tell you that after.

Great location for transit, especially if you’re doing a whale shark tour. The room is clean, and the owner is friendly and also offers last-minute whale shark tours

Unfortunately, the duvet didn’t have a bedsheet, and there was no hot water during my stay

Please take note that most westerners like coffee or tea for breakfast...and a bit of a choice other than the same old nasi goreng. At very little cost to the operation

Really nice place to stay with family. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful . Absolutely will be back there if we go to Labuan Jambu. If you want to do see the whale shark, you can start directly from the hotel. The trip Will start at 4 AM.

Transit Hotel is exactly what the name suggests - somewhere to stay while you are in waiting to see the whalesharks or on a journey elsewhere. The staff seemed a little disorganised when we arrived and unsure of our booking, but we weren't in a hurry so that didn't really matter. We were in one of the new rooms which had building works going on above so that was pretty noisy during the day. The whole room and bathroom smelt like a public toilet although the bathroom was clean - not sure if that was related to the building work and it didn't bother us that much but it was slightly unpleasant. Food at the restaurant was delicious, but inconsistent in serving size. The Sumbawan chicken dish was delicious, as was the water spinach, the satay chicken was amazing in flavour, but pretty small and with no peanut sauce despite that being on the menu. The boats arriving at 4am to collect whale shark tourists will wake you if you are just travelling through as they are noisy. The view of the waterway in front is really peaceful
