The WIFI was Iffy and the TV didn't work, it's a very small flat and needs updating. The oven needs cleaning

We stayed here recently whilst visiting family and cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s a wonderful property in a lovely location, close to all amenities, with breathtaking views of the sea, harbour and local park. Mark, our host, was exceptionally welcoming and helpful.

A very well presented property, with a well designed interior and thoughtful decor in keeping with a maritime theme. The views of marine park and the sea beyond was a perfect backdrop, whilst waking up to morning coffee. Was nice to have a discount towards a restaurant located close to the property, although we didn’t have time to eat there during our visit.

Not much at all to speak of. The induction hob did take some getting used to. Not sure if there was a nightshift worker on the floor above or a prolific sleep walker, as there was quite a noise in the early hours of the night, but that’s not any fault of the property itself.

Location excellent. Mark really responsive and helpful It was the perfect base for our visit and I would fully recommend to anyone wanting a stay in the North East

it was close to the parks.

The advertising said the host would be there to meet us if we arranged a time but this didn't happen. We were given a code. Some of this however was because we did not have a british phone number. We could not get the TV to work or the heating. We could have rang a number for help but we just give up. The property was not as big as we had expected and we paid over $1000 for 3 nights so we were a bit dissapointed. If the host cannot turn up it would be good to have an introductory pack to see how to work things. Because it was a loft apartment there were four flights of stairs to walk up and the stairwell was not what you would call welcoming. The welcome pack was just the very basic and I would have expected more because of how much we paid. In hindsight I should have looked at the reviews regarding the heating not working even if you follow the instructions.
