Old Town 1 Bedroom Hideaway

We booked at the last minute, late at night, after a flight cancellation. Jimmy, the host, was brilliant. He was immediately responsive and super helpful. This was so much appreciated in our circumstances. He kindly resent all the location details to whatsapp when I couldn't get into my email, he came over straight away to get the air con working for us after a switch tripped it and we couldn't get it working. All this was at about midnight. He also gave us a late checkout the next day, which was really great of him. The details of how to find the place, and get the keys and get in were straightforward (lock box outside). The place was furnished to a high standard, very clean and comfortable, with good stuff - a comfy bed (you don't get this everywhere!) a TV in the bedroom, a comfy sofa in the living room area, a little balcony, a coffee machine. Plus, it's in a great location :)

There wasn't anything that I 'didn't like' or is worth flagging to others as a negative point. I guess I could say that this wasn't the cheapest place we've stayed in Alicante but that seems unfair to mention, as it was the comfiest of the three places we've stayed. The views were not amazing but they're also not terrible either - it's just that it overlooks a street (a cute little street - not a road!) so you can't see the castle or the sea, if that is important to you (I am searching for things to say because booking.com asked but maybe this is very important to some people....)

The location. There wasn’t even utensils or cups. No soap, only two horrible quality towels. We decided to stay only one night and left, losing one night I would not recommend that unit.
