"The Grand Dame of Bled"

The view and the staff make this a memorable stay. The hotel is a beautiful older lady who is looking forward to her facelift later this year. The history and the elegance of the hotel are outstanding.

I appreciate it is an old hotel but I think the pictures on the websites do not really demonstrate the age and small rooms.

Location outstanding and breakfast quality, range and service all excellent.

Rooms and parts of the hotel a case of faded elegance and in need of a facelift. Lakeside relaxing area should have drinks and snacks service. Lake Bled was very cold for any more than a few minutes dip so the indoor pool should have been warmer than 20 C for a proper swim.
