Breakfast was perfect, location as well. Very nice and hepful staff.

But the room we received was very small, old-fashioned, with poor furniture, especially in the bathroom (no facilities at all). The price was too expensive for such a room/stay.

location and lake view

It was almost impossible to find waiters in the restaurant. They seemed to ignore guests who needed service, which made the experience quite unpleasant. In addition, there was no air conditioning in the common areas, so it was uncomfortably hot. The furniture also felt very old, and the bathroom was clearly in need of renovation.

"Perfect luxurious treat for a couple of nights."

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a lake view room which was spectacular. Staff were super attentive polite and helpful . Breakfast was a real treat. Location perfect.

Could do with having a bit more atmosphere in the bar area.

Stunning location right on the lake — it doesn't get better than this. Grand Hotel Toplice has a wonderful heritage feel that's warm and homely rather than stiff or formal. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent

Nothing significant — a very enjoyable stay overall.
