"Relaxing long weekend."

8.0

The cottage was lovely and clean, the hot tub was great and the location handy for getting around. The games room was a massive bonus, too.

The cottage is situated on a busy street, so it was a pain getting through the gates. I had to learn the pattern of the traffic lights before I dared reverse into the drive. The lack of a drop kerb was a bit of a pain.

"Clean and convenient!"

10.0

The location is convenient. M&S, sainsbury are within walking distance. The bus station is nearby too. All the rooms are comfortable and tidy.

Very minor: Insufficient toilet tissue and rubbish bin bags for staying 5 days.

"Felt at home"

10.0

The property is welcoming, very comfortable with the familiar feeling of home and very clean. The electric recliner seating was a big bonus for my husband. Property has all essentials plus extra little touches which were not expecting. The owners are lovely and on hand to assist. We will be back.

The visitors book was full, therefore we could not leave the excellent review this property deserves.

"Ahmed's"

8.0

Clean property spacious and modern. The games room was a bonus The kids loved it. Ho t tub when filled up and cleaned is lovely and hot just what you need on a restful trip. Shops close by and a lovely walk into the town centre. Sainsbury's 5 mins walk at the back of the property and if you like your history there is a museum in the town centre which is free to go into.

Only room to park 1 car in the gate because the property is on a very busy road so you need someone to open the gate and maybe stop the traffic, advise you to reverse in. Any other cars can park in Sainsbury's for £20 up to 7 days. Just a heads up haha the carpark for the shop opposite the house won't let you park because they close the gate and have deliveries. PLEASE BE AWARE when the hot tub gets cleaned on a Friday we were not able to use it until the following day as it hasn't filled up until later in the evening and did not heat up. I did call the property manager he said he was in a meeting and had just seen the message from the maintenance man and myself and was told some parts needed fitting. I got an apology but wasn't impressed because the whole purpose of us booking the property was to use the hot tub. Also no brush or mop for the kitchen so had to go buy one myself from the local shops. Bring your own 😆 to avoid costs. There is an under the counter fridge and a little freezer compartment which we didn't use as it was too small for our family, so we bought things on a daily basis. The kitchen also has 2 ovens but we didn't use them during our stay. Some recommendations for the property would be a dustpan and a brush, mop and bucket, plastic tupperware to use outside near the hot tub. The mattresses needed looking at the springs are painful in the bunk bed room the other beds are really hard. Seems every review in the book at the property has mentioned this the first time in 2021 along with the cleaning products.

"The was such an amazing place, I would have stayed longer."

Location was great. It was modern inside and spacious.

Was difficult to park the car in and out of the driveway, as the road is busy, but at the same time everything around the property was within walking distance.

10.0

Everything x Games room, Hot tub, reclining sofas, convenience of location, private parking x

Maybe needs some door mats stop trailing water in when raining x I realise everyone’s mattress is different it’s a personal preference, but I would have like maybe memory foam toppers on them?

"Good"

7.0

Games room and hot tub were a great asset Good location. Lounge large.airy and comfortable

Kitchen very poorly equipped. 2 small saucepans and a small frying pan. Not enough even to cook pasta for the 6 people staying. No freezer. Dishwasher would have been nice..rather than all the cupboard space which wasn't needed.. Extra bin bags and teatowels would be useful. Towels provided were very small. Overall cleanliness was OK.. but cupboard under sink in downstairs bathroom was dirty. Cupboard in kitchen still contained dog food from previous occupant and opened packet if sweets..this obviously hadn't been checked. Welcome tray was poor.
