Topaz Motel - Flagler Beach

The tub was disgusting, it was a dingy grey black color. I had to put towels down on the shower floor and wear my flip flops. I realize The Topaz is an old hotel, however, certainly needs some renovation. I left at 1:00am on Saturday April 18th because I spent the day bleaching the floors, toilet, refrigerator, the oven is falling apart. I never complain, Ever! I have heard really good things about this place but maybe it’s the restaurant there

good location across A1A from beach.

The room was dated. Fresh paint but no spackle in the old holes in the walls. The curtain on the glass door was translucent. I could see perfectly outside. Raised privacy concerns. Cable TV had no guide so only way to find channel was to go to each one to see what was playing.

The location and price of this place makes it awesome it's a really old facility but it is a great budget option for a beach trip

The facility is old and could use some major updating but I have stayed here for years if you're not boujee it's great for a budget vacation

There Really Wasn't Much For Negative,,

Beach was across the street and good restaurants near by.

The shower flooded out into the main living area. The bottom of the bathroom door was swollen and rusted. It obviously wasn't the first time that has happened. Staff was absolutely no help. Gave me 2 extra towels. 1/4 of the room had a 1/2 inch of water in it. No one ever came in to even look. We did not stay. We waited 4 hours. After making direct communication 3 times. No one came. At @ 9pm. We left.

Arrived at 4:30 couldn't get into our rooms they were still cleaning them until 5:30. One room had a microwave and no fridge the other had a fridge and no microwave. By around 6-6:30 they did get a fridge in the room without one. All in all it was better than sleeping in a Kia

The rooms were disgusting honestly. The carpet turned my feet black.
