2-bedroom Apartment Kitchen and sitting area tastefully decorated. Kitchen provided with all the necessary stuff including washing up liquid, sponge & tea towels. Microwave, hob and kettle. Main bedroom with 1 double; second bedroom 2 singles, but plenty of space everywhere. Bathroom a good size, with wall hairdryer and lots of hooks. Nice terrace area with a shade. Outside was just a joy - terrace for eating and stunning pool area overlooking the vines. Excellent service and good menu choice with reasonably priced own wines. Lovely pool area with stunning views and well maintained beds and tables. Interesting, personal wine tour by the owner and lots of opportunities to ask questions. Nice tasting of their Chianti wines. Attention to detail is perfect and the owners are onsite but not intrusive; just welcoming and checking everything is ok.

Nothing…. but some minor points: - double mattress needs replacing - loo seat fixing… And it would be good if somehow a window in the bathroom could be opened!

Truly stunning location, with incredible views of the surrounding hills and overlooking the vineyards. The restaurant prepares some excellent food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you would like. The wines produced by their vineyard were also extremely good and reasonably priced. The pool is great, with nice deck chairs to relax in. Staff were very nice, and accommodating as we wanted to spend a couple hours relaxing by the pool after our check out before heading back to Florence, and that wasn't an issue at all.

A small thing, but the opening hours of the breakfast were slightly constraining. We felt as if we were inconveniencing them by wanting to eat at 8/8:30 when the restaurant hours were from 7-9, or something similar.

Beautiful location, lovely family run property, the staff always went above and beyond. One of the best vacations we’ve been on!!

We had a wonderful stay at il Colombaio. To start, the property is located in the heart of Chianti, only 15 minutes from Siena. I would obviously recommend to have a car as it's much easier to get to the property, but we met other guests who were able to get there by train and arranged transportation with the hosts. The estate is stunning and has been kept up to date and beautifully maintained, and includes an infinity pool you will want to jump in the minute you see it. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included and delicious. You can eat it outside on sunny days and it was the best way to start the day. You also have the option to have lunch and dinner on the property if you'd like, and most importantly have a wine tasting and tour of the vineyard. We decided to do that on our second day at 6pm, which was followed perfectly with our dinner and more wine. The food is delicious and is farm to table. Last but not least, the family/hosts were so welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them and learning about il Colombaio. We left with bottles of wine and memories for a lifetime. Highly recommend you stay at il Colombaio if you plan to experience the true agriturismo life in Tuscany. We will be back!

The place is magical and we were hosted by such a wonderful family ( Marco, Roberta & Francisco ) . Had an amazing tour at the winery, lovely wine tasting experience and amazing home cooked dinner.True authentic experience of the Tuscan country side.

This beautyful location is a guarantee for the ultimate holiday feeling. The staff is also incredibly hospitable and goes out of their way to make you enjoy your stay. The place is also suitable to connect a little with other guests, which enhanced the atmosphere. We would definitely come back if we’re in the area again. Thank you Julio and Francesco!
