Beautiful agriturismo with a great view. Delicious homemade breakfast. Great pool area.

Nothing I didn't like, I just think it was a bit pricey for what you get.

This place is absolutely stunning. We weren't sure what to expect when booking but it exceeded all of our expectations. The pool was amazing and refreshing. It was lovely to be guaranteed sunbeds around the pool without having to rush down at the crack of dawn. The food was fantastic. Home cooked and so fresh. We did the 3 glass wine tasting which was fabulous. We had a tour of the wine cellar which was very interesting to see how the wine is made. The B & B is only a short drive from Monterigioni which is well worth exploring. We had a lovely time relaxing in this beautiful setting and will definitely be back!

Everything was great! Our room was always clean, the staff was very friendly, the location was breathtaking and the food. Oh my god, if you have the chance to try their gnocchi with pesto, go for it. The best gnocchi I have ever had. We also participated in wine tasting, which was great experience. Me and my husband we really enjoyed our stay, we felt welcomed.

PARADISE! If you would like an authentic Tuscan winery experience, this is the perfect place to stay. The family who run this Agriturismo are wonderful people, who are passionate about wine, food and hospitality. We had many wonderful dinners at the property, some of the best food we had in Tuscany. A car is essential for exploring this area.

Everything was perfect! We stayed there as a part of our honeymoon travel and the hosts went extra mile to make sure our stay was as pleasurable as possible. 10/10 from us and we will definitely return!

We loved every bit of Il Colombaio. It's a functioning and family run vineyard with lovely staff and the owners were incredible. They take real pride in their business, both the wine/olive oil they produce as well as their hotel part of the business. At the same time they were very warm and accomodating people. All of their staff is amazing. The rooms were kept impeccably clean, the facilities are too. The food was amazing. The wine was amazing. And of course the human touch that everybody provided, from the owners to the kitchen staff and housekeeping. The location is incredible and offers easy access to Tuscany as a whole. If we get the chance in the future, we will be back for sure. I could write a whole book, but let's just say this place is a real gem!

We were not disappointed by anything. Maybe only the fact we at some point had to leave.

We loved the hospitality, everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful in every way. We had dinner at the property every night and wished we stayed longer to eat through the menu which had the most amazing antipasti and pasta. We also had a wine tasting and tour from Marco on the property which allowed us to appreciate even more the incredible wines il Colombaio offers. The staff gave us great advice for exploring the area. It was in a really special location, just inside the Chianti Classico region, with the large pool looking over a beautiful view of the valley. You could also order a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to be enjoyed by the pool. There were so many beautiful spots to settle in with a glass of wine or spritz and enjoy the classic Tuscan scenery, architecture and garden. This property was also in the perfect location to explore the Chianti region from, it is so easy to get to from Florence (straight down the highway) and so close to other beautiful vineyards in the Chianti region. We came away feeling like we were leaving home, we miss everyone at il Colombaio and are already planning our next visit.

Everything at the Agriturismo il Colombaio was wonderful - our room was charming, cool and comfortable, there was a beautiful area for wine tasting and dining plus a refreshing pool with an amazing view. The location is perfect for relaxing in the countryside while still being able to visit Sienna and easily explore towns nearby like Monteriggioni. We also ate some of our favourite meals in Italy here - the antipasti with a Tuscan spritz and the pici with wild boar ragu were incredible. The family who has run the farm for 5 generations looked after us so well, a special thank you to Francesco for helping us with organising our nearby travel! We hope to be back again!
