IL COLOMBAIO Winery

The stunning farm house, sparkling clean infinity pool and the wine tasting! We ate at the winery on two nights and the food was to die for! One of the best meals we had during our time in Tuscany. Great location as a base to explore other areas of Tuscany. The family who own the farm are just wonderful and we met some lovely people who were also staying there. Would highly recommend this property and can't wait to return.

I loved our Agriturismo experience with il Colombaio 🙃 The place is really lovely, we enjoyed the peacefulness and silence of Tuscany, especially in the morning when you wake up and enjoy the sunny Tuscan valley. The whole area is amazing, with vineyards and lovely green fields. It is also close to Sienna, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, lovely places to look around. So 10+ for location. The hosts are just lovely, Marco and his adorable family, that run the Agriturismo and the winery. They were really helpful and wonderful hosts. We enjoyed wine tasting and dinner, and the wine is definitely a must try. Especially the Gran Selezione. The dinner was very delicious. And last but not the least, the rooms were clean, cozy, with comfy beds, … Overall, we truly enjoyed staying at il Colombaio, and definitely recommend staying here. And thanks to ourur hosts for enjoyable vacation.

The stay in Colombaio was perfect, we loved the whole thing, I traveled with my mom and sister, and we had a great time there. The facilities are beautiful and fit perfectly with the view. Not to mention the amazing landscape that you are able to enjoy. We had breakfast, which was super fresh and delicious all days, and dinner with the delicious wines made in the hotel's winery. Also, I want to thank the incredible staff, who were always helpful and worried if we were having a great stay. We will absolutely return! Thank you so much for this amazing vacation.

Beautiful place and location. Food and wine were excellent and the room was gorgeous. Wine tour was great as well. Pool also was really nice. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful

The location was excellent, beautiful scenery and very helpful staff. The property was very authentic and had everything we required. The pool was amazing, as was the on site wine tasting.

Maybe some starting provisions in the property, water etc as everywhere is a drive out and also a greater range of toiletries, which only consisted of a soap and shower gel.

This is a must stay if visiting Tuscany. Roberta and Marco work so hard to create a spottlessly clean, peaceful and romantic setting in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. They simply couldn't have done enough, no ask was too big, even when we struggled to open the gate to the property late at night after an event, Marco without hesitation drove to the property in the middle of the night to help us. Breakfast is fresh, simple and yummy. The rooms were clean, well finished, and housekeeping each day added a lovely touch. We will most certainly return as we felt we had great value as well as a relaxing stay.

Can't make one single fault, this was THE BEST stay I have had in Italy. Not something I say likely as I have traveled and lived in Italy through the years.

This is an exceptional family-run hotel with magnificent views across an iconic Tuscan landscape - vines, farmers' fields and a wonderful wooded hill across the valley, together with the castellated walls of Monteriggioni in the distance. The food is delicious and authentic, the staff super friendly and helpful. The pool is fab. One of the best and most memorable stays of my life. And that's not even mentioning their own classic wine which is of tremendous quality.
