From Arrival at the lodge when i arrived we were left with no heating for 3 hours, someone then moved us to another lodge which had 2 power cuts when we arrived, 1 of them being while eating a meal, we were also unable to use the hot tub the first night due to it not being heated up! I paid for a hot tub and for a lovely weekend in a lodge from start was a disaster! I didnt get what i paid for, i did request a 1 night refund to there response was we will give you 20 percent off a next stay with us! I feel like me and my family (2 young kids may i add and no heating in winter for 3 hours) is unacceptable

"lovely clean lodge would use again if visiting York"

The lodge was very clean and tidy , hot tub was lovely and the board games .

very muddy around area / staff at the bar not very friendly/ helpful
