Two bedroom - Central Peterborough - New Year Discount

Well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms; one with a bath. Good location. Easy to access, although corridors seem endless. Not too noisy.

Lack of bedside tables and lamps due to rooms not really being big enough for twin beds. Lack of windows.

Close to town Lots of space

Location - close to city centre and transport links. Windows that opened.

Samsung TV plus took a bit of getting used to. Kitchen utensils, no frying pan - purchased our own and left it there for the next guest ;D

The owner has changed the cleaners now so hopefully that will change the current situation. The apartment is large and close to all the shops, the train station and restaurants.

I stayed here before but this visit was different. Upon my arrival (no early check in was allowed) I learned that the apartment had not been cleaned properly. The floors were filthy (they had not been swept or mopped, I had to do it), the carpets had not been vacuumed and over all the apartment was in need of a proper clean. The fridge was dirty as well. I contacted the owner who arranged for the cleaners to come back out the following day. They arrived 20 mins. late and were beyond rude to me when I pointed out what had not been cleaned. They left without cleaning because they did not like the fact that I called them out on their lousy work. The owners then arranged for new cleaners to come out later that day and they were great. Not an ideal way to start my stay. The windows in the bedrooms do not open, broken arm chair, broken bin lid, loose headboards, construction work outside the building, noisy hallways and doors slamming coinstantly. The kid upstairs runs around until late at night early in the morning. A bit of music on the w/end from the nearby bars and club, the walk in shower is tiny and both rooms have single beds only. Dirty communal areas, the extractor fan was dirty. The towel warmers cannot be turned off. Over all not a good stay and sadly I shall not return to this apartment.
