Private Countryside Annexe with Exclusive Wood Burner, Outdoor Hot Shower & Views

We liked everything very much, my husband and I came to celebrate our 7th anniversary, it was very ramantic, and we just managed to be alone from the bustle of the city and enjoy the beautiful views

Was clean, very nice decorated, great views, bigger than the pictures make it seem, comfy bed! The owner kindly left a chocolate bar and welcome note which was a lovely touch and my only regret is I wish we could have stayed longer, was so peaceful

The only small thing was whenever we arrived/left the annexe the dog would wait at the bottom of the stairs and bark, absolutely harmless but I’m not used to big dogs and wasn’t expecting this

Lovely bedsit for 2 . Very comfortable in quiet and beautiful location. Lovely garden with access to local footpaths. Tea coffee and milk available in the accommodation. Host was accessible and sorted a minor problem immediately. Very good service and good value. Very comfortable. Local pub Castle of Comfort was excellent . Many thanks for a lovely stay.

The Annexe was charming, quiet, comfortable, clean and welcoming. Johan, the owner, was helpful and thoughtful. Though it’s not large, the space has been well thought out and provides a really pleasant “home from home”. The bed was comfortable, with lovely linen bedding, and there is a very nice wood burning stove (which we didn’t need) in front of a good sofa for relaxing. The shower room is small, and could be cramped for big or tall people, but the fittings and fixtures are good quality, with good towels. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle, with and adequate amount of (very nice) crockery, cutlery and glassware for two, and a decent sized fridge (though with no freezer section). We could have done with somewhere other than the two hooks in the bathroom (which we used for bathroom towels) to hang clothes, and for longer than a couple of nights, there was not much drawer space. A tea towel and a kitchen type knife would have been useful. All in all, a lovely place for a secluded short stay.

Lack of hanging and storage space. It rained heavily on the morning we left, and the outside wooden stairs and landing were consequently somewhat slippery.

The property was great, it was a half way stop point over night as we were driving down to Cornwall the next day from norwich and wanted to break the journey up, very clean, everything there you need, good communication with owner, even left us a cheeky bar of dairy milk haha, also log burner very nice addition, very cosy, would highly recommend.
