Great host, excellent helpful communication. Comfortable bed. Gentle location.

We found the tiny washbasin exasperating. Also struggled with the tiny kitchenette having made a decision to ‘cook’ a ready meal rather than eat out.

Good location

Property very cold , no heating on the first night . Johan came on the second night but it took him 20 mins to get it going . Everything else was good , plenty of coffee etc .

Excellent stay here! Host was an absolute delight and the stay was just perfect for the both of us, plus our dog. The worst part for us was not staying here longer…

Location and friendliness

I was a walker, carrying all on my back, and the availability of a microwave and a wood burner meant that I could have a hot meal and get the cold rain out of my bones. Priceless.

I liked everything about the property.

We loved the decor, the cosy bed and tv set up. Most of all we loved the log fire! Host was super friendly and very responsive. Would definitely stay again!

The bathroom towel rail either didn’t work or we couldn’t figure it out! Either way it was a chilly bathroom
