Silent Brook Resort - Coorg

Amazing hospitality, great views and outstanding food. Each and every staff member is exceptionally polite and expert in their areas. Special mention to the chef who took utmost care to make each and every meal perfect for us .

Restaurant staff was super helpful. Food was decent. Spread of Buffets were good and quality of some food items was good while some other food items needed to be avoided. Housekeeping staff always tried to attend to our requests. The view from the room balcony was superb and we could always hear waterfall sounds throughout the day from our room.

The resort inner path is super steep which was no where mentioned as a caveat. It was super uncomfortable for us to go to the restaurant from room or to clubhouse. There was NO GYM in the resort which, at this price, was a bummer. There was only filter water complimentary and we were charged premium for bottled water for us.

A beautiful resort away from the crowd. Quiet.

Most rooms are far away from the only restaurant. If you are not fit walking up will be uncomfortable.

The room was large enough with a balcony. Bed was also comfortable. The location was on a mountain slope with thick vegetation around. The head Chef was really nice and cooperative.

Booking.com's rating was of a 5star property. Sadly it wasn't close to it. The resort was on a mountain slope and the property was congested with too many cottages. The slope was quite steep. There were cars for transit but the roads were too narrow for the cars to ply. One of the biggest put offs was the uncooperative. The bathroom had a leaking geyser and only on asking did they give an extra towel (only 1 was kept when we checked in, no tissues, other basic toiletries were missing ) for a family of 3. Even a request to keep the spa open for 30 minutes longer was turned down by the staff. Food was okay but repetitive. All in all it wasn't a stay at this price. Expect much lower tariffs for such ordinary property.

It brings calmness in life and this is what I wanted from my trip to Coorg. Service is amazing and special shout out to Samat (Night manager) and Abung (Manager) for their helping nature and considering even my smallest of requests. The spa facilities are amazing, parents tried the traditional Keralan Abhyanga massage. The Chef during my visit was a visiting chef (Pradeesh) who has worked all around the world and participated in masterchef UK as well. I loved the way he was so passionate about his food. And i had a treat having him standing at my table discussing the nuances of recipes.

The location was amazing and its ambience was top notch. The food quality was also very good .

Nothing as such. A buggy arrangement could have been helpful.
