Lux 4 Bedroom in Auckland with Spa and Light Breakfast

Wonderful and inviting home. The beds were very comfortable and everything was set up beautifully. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.

There was a power outage, and unknown what caused this. This happened in the morning when we were getting ready to leave for the event which was the purpose of our trip to Auckland. The power came back on an hour before we were set to leave. The owner was very responsive. The spa pool took a long time to fill up and instructions were not clear on how to turn it on.

The house is spacious and well equipped. Has the potential to be a great stay. Linen is clean. Has a double garage which is great for the vehicles. Washing machine came in handy.

We were 7 people booked for two night. There were 4 coffee sachets, One small loaf of bread and cereal for breakfast which is included in a price of $670 for the two nights. When I phoned the owner to ask for more coffee and butter he said he would have it delivered the next morning. As we were leaving early in the morning I said that that was not acceptable. His response was. We give me a bad rating I don't care. Later that evening someone showed up with another loaf of bread, some margarine and then proceeded to give me 3 more sachets of coffee. I then told her that we were 7 and were staying two nights. She then gave me some more coffee. The bathrooms are not clean, showers are mouldy. The BBQ collapsed while we were trying to grill some sausages because the legs had rusted through. This was definitely not a good experience and not good value for money.

Pretty clean. Nicely laid out. Rooms were clean, decor was nice. House gave each of us privacy. It was comfortable.

The stay was okay, but a few things could be improved. Some kitchen items weren’t very clean, pans were rusty and one of the power outlets wasn’t working. There wasn’t a proper knife for cooking, and the spa wasn’t ready on arrival. The complimentary bread and milk were appreciated, though the complimentary wine and cereal did not arrive until mentioned. With a bit more attention to detail, it could be a great stay. Inder was very quick to resolve the issues. Just a pity that we had to go through it first.
