MYWe booked Hill Villa. The room is spacious with king size bed. Beautiful view during sunrise. 50m swimming pool which is good for swimming, but sometimes can be very packed without any available deck chair to sit. Nice private resort to relax with private beach at Emerald Bay. Free and frequent buggy available to move from place to place. Some wildlife to explore, such as the Oriental Pied Hornbills, flying foxes, needle fishes, sergeant fishes, etc
Food is mediocre at Feast Restaurant. The breakfast has great variety of options, but the local breakfast was just okay, but not fantastic. The roti canai was so hard and chewy, the curry was also just okay, but not wow. We saw many plastic bottles and rubbish at the slope near the toilet at the yoga centre. Even some rubbish along the slope beneath the Hill Villa. Emerald Bay was also not upkeep property with rubbish floating on the water, such as wood plank, paint tin cover and some plastics. Services was inconsistent, some staff were super helpful with extra mile service to offer and serve us freshly squeezed fruit juice, some just told us to go get ourselves, so we were confused if we were supposed to help ourselves or request from the server. That said, staff were always friendly and chatty. Last but not least, the room was not thoroughly cleaned with speck of dust on the toilet paper holder and the glass door at the hot tub was marked with stains. The hot water at the bath tub was not hot at all, that we could not enjoy the hot tub.
DESehr schönes Resort, sehr gute Restaurants, tolle Pools, hervorragendes Spa, schöner kleiner Strand auf einer Seite der Insel. Shuttle-Service hat immer gut funktioniert.0
Auf der Seite der Bungalows kann man leider nicht baden. Obwohl es ein hochwertiges Resort ist, ist der Preis doch etwas überzogen. Ärgerlich war, dass die Überfahrt mit dem Boot extra bezahlt werden musste.
