The Burrow - 2 bedroom apartment in central Windermere

We loved staying at the Burrows, it was like a little home from home, such a cozy comfortable property, wouldn't change a thing, we will definitely be staying again, and would strongly recommend, 2 minute walk from Windermere train station, the owner was so polite and helpful, thank you Lara

Homely accomodation and location spot on.

Lack of parking but did find somewhere nearby.

Location was excellent, beautiful property

Modern, clean and everything we needed to make our weekend a comfortable one. We particularly liked all the welcome gifts which were very thoughtful and useful. The inventory was plenty with a place for everything.

Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. Lovely little touched such as snacks, games and toiletries were greatly appreciated.

Very close to the Train station,town centre and shops. The Shower was lovely and everything we needed was in the apartment. It was extremely clean and quiet. The bed was so comfortable especially the Pillows.

I'm not sure if it's my own fault for not reading properly. I'm disabled and struggle with mobility. There's steps leading up to the apartment & into the bathroom. Fortunately it wasn't too much of an issue as my son was able to lift my Rollator up & down the step. Also a neighbour had parked his car outside the apartment not leaving much space at all even for a person with just luggage to get past. Not everyone drives and thus was stressful, especially as he wasn't very happy at having to move his car which he was just sat in to enable me to walk past with my Rollator. I did message Lara and she was helpful although l don't see how saying in advance l had mobility issues would help as like l said my son struggled with a suitcase. This isn't the owner of the appointments fault. Also the Bathroom sink drained very slowly and had a bit of a bad drain egg smell on and off. We didn't mention as didn't want disturbing and wasn't a huge issue.
