"Good quality accommodation in great market town."

Great communication from owner and the location is very central. Good quality kitchen with every utensil etc you could want. There has obviously been great care taken with renovations/updates

One shower for the size of groups booking is not ideal. Beds were a little small which impacted upon comfort somewhat.

"Exceptional"

Good location for the centre, great base for travelling in the area, to the Lake District. The house was decorated lovely, clean, had everything we needed. The host Fiona checked in with us before and after stay.

"Superb"

Beautifully presented, right in the heart of the town. Great area for food, drinks and using as a base for walks and access to other areas around. Fiona was amazing keeping us informed and checking in. We have stayed in Kirkby for the past 4 years and the first time in this property and Fiona by the best owner we have dealt with.

Would have liked television in the bedroom but not that important!

Location excellent. House wonderfully stocked, decorated, comfy, lovely. Location perfect apart from minor issue of early morning deliveries, as house right on Main Street.

Only that description could be clearer in that third toilet is actually outside. It was fine but would have been nice to have been clearer as we were looking for 3 bathrooms. We would still have stayed as was perfect otherwise. Thankyou!

"Perfect accommodation, great location and lovely host"

Great property, well maintained with everything you need. The host (Fiona) left us some supplies in the fridge for our arrival and each bedroom had sufficient towels for everyone. Great location in the town within easy walking distance of several pubs, shops & restaurants. Communication with the host before and during our stay was excellent. Would highly recommend and if in the area again will go back.

only slight issue was that there is no parking and we had 2 cars. However there is a pay & display car park very close.
