"Lovely location, good company and lovely weather couldn’t ask for more"

The welcome pack was fine all the necessities.

No handrail on the stairs and as the guests were elderly was a bit of a challenge. I asked the owners about this and they explained it was a grade 2 listed building in a conservation area and was very difficult to get permission. I think on health and safety grounds this should be addressed This was just a minor point overall we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend this property.

"Exceptional"

Our stay was for an overnight reunion of friends from University. We travelled from all across the UK, one of us even flying in from Australia. Our host Maria was excellent, working hard to bring forward the check-in time so that we could make the most of our stay. The accommodation itself was perfect for our stay, lovely modern interiors right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. Highly recommended.

Beck Head is a gorgeous home, beautifully decorated with high quality fixtures and fittings. It is clean and well stocked. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of storage. There was a very generous welcome pack which everyone enjoyed. The location is perfect and we all enjoyed Kirby Lonsdale. Parking is straightforward either in the centre or by the river a short walk. It was very easy to make contact with the owner before and after our stay and she very helpfully retrieved and returned a left item by post , many thanks !

"Lovely place to stay."

The location was lovely. I just wish we had more time to enjoy the place. We were out all day walking Saturday and Sunday. The weather on Monday meant we left straight away to go home. The house was very clean, and we all loved the welcome pack of goodies. Thank you.

We found there wasn't enough comfortable seating in the sitting room, but we managed by bringing chairs from the other rooms.
