Amalfi Venere house -balcony & seaview

Loved the view from where we were. Amazing hospitality from edoardo and asia who provided us with everything we need to know. Will always recommend

Not much they can do but the stairs/steps can be a hassle to get to especially when in a rush but a light back should be ok

Beautiful property! Amazing view. A little rough to get to, but very nice. Be prepared to taxi or bus down to the town as it is high up. There are a few restaurants nearby- but to get to the center it's a 20 Min walk down a billion stairs or a bus ride. We didn't have hot water on the last 2 days.

Spacious unit. - Smart TV. - Has a kitchen. - Has a cute balcony but you can't use it to eat otherwise the cats will come and eat your food.

- No breakfast. - Location was AWFUL. Other than being far from where the main bustling place would be, it takes 50 steps to the location, and 500 steps down to the city. Meaning, if you come here with any roller bags, or heavy luggages or issues walking for too long, please forget it. The bus down to the beach is every 1 hour, so unless you have a car (and a car park), forget it. - Host was lovely and wonderful at first. He did not inform us beforehand that him assisting us with the luggages will cost us. Towards the end of our trip, he dared ask 50euros for handling the luggages for us, when we carried them ourselves. - Water pressure for shower is great but there is limited hot water supply enough only for 1 person to shower.

Too many steps for heavy luggage (but that is the Location Not the house‘s fault)

Asia came and met us as we followed Google maps to via sophamere 7. We can’t find the house unless they take us there first time. Parking was at the top, E30 per night. There’s 90 steps down to the hotel. Sitabus to Pogerola from Amalfi will take to Hotel Excelsior and then its a 10’ walk and then the 90 steps down. Its also a 25’ walk down the steps from the hotel to amalfi center. we are all very fit and could do the climb up too once. But at the end of the day, you just want an easy way to get back. Amalfi center is a good place to go around to the other towns on sita buses. You can buy tickets and check schedule online. The apt itself is very pretty and clean. Lots of fresh towels. Nice balcony and sit out areas with excellent views. Kitchen is well equipped. No microwave though.

There is no central heating. There’s 2 ACs that blow hot air. So just the area where the air goes, its warm, the rest of the house is cold. Hot water had good pressure, but sometimes you wont get any. There’s cats everywhere. We had to keep all doors and windows shut all the time to keep them from entering.

It's a nice place. It's quite a climb up the hill to Pogerola so you're not in Amalfi centre, but this gives you great views on the sea and the hills. We also liked how this shows you 'life on the hill". Apartment was spacious with two bedrooms (4 people) so great for families. And with a kitchen in case you want to cook yourself.

We didn't get realy warm water since the water heating depends on the weather and it was cloudy. The kitchen could be better equiped. It could be a bit cleaner.

Amazing views from the balcony and easy to get into Amalfi via the steps (about 800!). Also located a short walk from a small square which has a few nice restaurants with views across the other side of Amalfi. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable and the host was really lovely and helpful. Helped us with our luggage and with useful recommendations.

The property has its own parking which is great if you have hired a car, however it was a little tricky to find/to know where to park and how to find the house from there, and we didn’t have reception up there to contact anyone. It’s easy once you know but would have been great to get some instructions beforehand of where to go.
