Friendly staff great atmosphere

We love the character of the hotel and the beautiful location. The decor in the room was pleasant and tasteful. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. We were with a large party and the service at dinner was very good.

The water pressure was very low. We didn’t like having a robot answer the phone when we tried to make an enquiry prior to our stay.

The room was a lot larger than I was expecting and the bed was comfy. The staff were very friendly. We had an evening meal which was very nice and not over priced. Plus the Guinness served on tap is one of the best I've have ever had. Will be returning.

Food was nice but wasn’t great. Hotel was busy and they were obviously understaffed as we waited a long time for dinner and again at breakfast.

Room was very clean & bed was comfortable. Great location with plenty of free parking

Tea & coffee facility in room was very sparsely stocked. Staff, whilst polite, weren't exactly friendly or welcoming.

Breakfast and location were good. We ate dinner in the bar restaurant (without booking in advance) which was excellent. Compliments to the chef. My Tue it and my husband’s lamb duo were outstanding

The bed was small due to the size of the room and that negatively affected how well we slept

We loved our courtyard annexe room, lovely bath tub and comfortable bed. Nice to have a table and chairs outside the door. The food and drink were great, we had evening meal and breakfast, which was superb! All the staff were so friendly.

The staff and hotel are lovely. Clean and cosy rooms, food was well cooked and presented. Well recommended.
