I Falchi Pellegrini - Bungalow e Tenda

Bit of a weird one this, you turn up at a villa with a closed gate, ring the bell, no one was on site but I got let in, then a phone call from a very friendly lady describing the facilities and which pre-pitched tent to use. Dinner you order in advance and pick up as takeaway from up the road - very delicious!

It is as priced - very basic but had everything I needed, basically a camp site with a pre-pitched tent and mattress to use, so bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. Lots of biting insects so be wary of that, and also being a torch.

Car felt very safe being on the property of the house, AC was also very nice to have on such a hot and warm day. It was a very relaxing and cozy stay just listening to the sounds of nature perfect for a 1 day pitstop off the highway for a very cheap price!

The spot is a bit in a remote location so getting there is not easy but the drive over there is very beautiful!

Hard to contact and misleading booking info. Our room ended up being a tent with holes and spiders with a damp blanket.

The Bungalow is super cozy. Very minimalistic but you don't need anything more if you are simply looking for a place to rest while hiking the via degli Dei. Warm shower and kind hosts who help arrange a pleasant dinner for you upon arrival. Overall a relaxing and lovely stay.

The included breakfast is very minimal, more of a snack bag made of of some packaged items... It will suffice for beginning your day of hiking but just know what to anticipate.
