Beautiful modern apartment in ideal location for visiting all the sites in York. Apartment was spotlessly clean.

Damage deposit of £175 taken 24hrs before arriving at the property. I feel this should only have been taken after leaving the property if damage had occurred.

Environment safety. The location is close to attractions and train station.

The bed was too soft. The air circulation in the bathroom is not very good, and there is a lack of clothes hooks. The bed sheets were covered with stains.

After paying for the rental of the property, we were contacted and asked for a further deposit, which wasn't made clear during our original booking. We were then asked illegally for ID documents. When I refused to supply them or pay the additional misrepresented deposit the property played a backwards and forwards game with bookings.com, during which the property was never relisted.and I had no opportunity to mitigate my loss, by them re letting to someone else. They kept all our money, and we didn'tnt stay with them because they refused us entry unless we paid the additional deposit and gave them our identity documents. Then they contacted us as if they had given us entry, telling us about rubish collection and parking, etc We were also told that they have CCTV installed to monitor all people entering and leaving the property and that they make no assurances that the furnishings inside the property, are in good condition, because of continual misuse..! . We are a family on holiday,.! And It appears to me that the property is more suited to exactly the profile of person they seem to be trying to avoid.. If you are considering renting this property, BE WARNED..! DONT.....!

Instructions for location were very vague Located in Hudson Quarter , not mentioned Difficult to locate Not accessible from Toft Green Dirty dishes in dishwasher , no toilet paper had to buy No live TV , had to figure out how to turn on hot Water Also WiFi code didn’t work

insufficient directions to the property, we really struggled to find it. also, had some difficulty getting the lights to come on (it was dark when we arrived) and also the fridge- couldn’t find the on switch. . A few clear instructions would help.

The property was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. it had a great central location and would definitely stay there again.

The property wasn’t easy to find. it wasn’t until the end of our stay we realised there was a short cut directly from the train station to the property. unfortunately the shower in the en-suite didn’t drain properly so we had to use the other bathroom shower, though this did not spoil our stay

very secure building, good location

only one set of key provided for 4 adult guests, walk in shower drains did not function properly, flooding the bathroom floor. we had to use the other bathroom for bathing. upon arrival a bath mat was in the washer, sopping wet. directions to the building very confusing, making it difficult to find. only a few packet of instant coffee provided- perhaps they should invest in a French press. no salt or pepper, just empty shakers. management company billed me £15.00 for a broken plastic rubbish bin lid which was broken upon our arrival. I assumed it was to be considered normal wear and tear as the bin was fully functional. not happy at all with the level of service provided and would not recommend anyone to stay at this flat.
