It is really a very nice building and in the centre of the CBD. We expected something a little bit more than usual, because it was a bit more expensive than the places we usually stay, but we were still pleasantly surprised with what we got. Very friendly and helpful staff. An amazing room, clean, big with all the commodities you can think of. Something that I personally loved, but its not expected was DSTV with an Afrikaans channel. The turn-down service was also not expected. Would love to return for a longer stay.

Unfortunately we had an early flight so we could not experience the breakfast. We thought that the drinks were overly expensive, but i suppose its to be expected in a 5 star hotel. But overall, one great place to stay.

Es hat uns alles gefallen: sehr freundlicher Service, tolles Zimmer mit großem, schönen Bad und Aussicht auf die Stadt, Tafelberg und Lions Head. Das Hotel bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und tagsüber sicher, nachts sind wir mit Uber gefahren.Die nächste Übernachtung in Kapstadt wird uns auch wieder in die Residence 96 führen.

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable

My favourite place in Cape Town. This property, in particular, is exceptional. The views of both the mountain and St. George’s Mall. The very attentive and responsive hosts, and the apartment itself is just beautiful. Decor, plush towels, comfortable bed and use of hotel facilities.

Love this residence. Book this one each time if it’s available. Taj is so well placed. Facilities are excellent. Lobby bar is grand. Bombay Brasserie is a must
