Luxury Residence 906 at Taj Cape Town

The apartment was perfect, great views and location. Roberto was helpful with ground transportation from Port to the Taj; driver was awesome, polite, professional and helpful. Check in was smooth. Decor in lobby and apartment was lovely.

I did not like the restaurants at the Taj. The host and servers were not welcoming and helpful. I sat at the upstairs restaurant for 40 minutes without service. The sushi chefs left without saying anything. The host at the Indian restaurant was rude and would not seat me at a table staying there were none available even though they're were at least 10 empty tables. Lastly it took several weeks to get my package mailed to me. The Concierge did not stay on top of this matter causing significant delay and disturbance during the rest of my trip around the continent.

I spent 3 nights stopping in the apartment in the Taj hotel. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and lacks nothing for my 3 night stay. I had the same access to the hotel facilities as I would if I had one of the hotel rooms.

All the staff were wonderful, the apartment was incredible, and the views were fantastic! The engagement with the property manager, Roberto, was also great.

Aside from having to seek valet assistance to have our car parked, we had a wonderful stay. One just needs to call to have your car collected.
