Centrally Located 2Bed Flat With Balcony & Parking

Lovely apartment, will stay again! The space was just right for 3 adults for a long weekend, and the shops/restaurants below are really handy

The flat met our needs in terms of cleanliness, location and layout. There are two bedrooms, a living room/diner, a small kitchen and bathroom with a shower (no bath but this was not an issue).

Freezing cold when we arrived. Felt so unwelcoming and we slept in our clothes on the first night. The radiators are tiny and do not provide sufficient warmth in the rooms. I contacted the owner/company asking for an additional small heater and was told this could not be provided. Eventually a couple of blankets were provided - which I made clear was wholly insufficient for us to feel even remotely comfortable in the flat. Having wasted hours on the phone, during our stay and after that, I was promised a £20 Amazon voucher for our troubles and a partial refund of the cost of booking. Neither of these two promised compensations materialised, three weeks after our stay. I would avoid at all costs this company, as the cleanliness and location could not compensate for the absolute freezing conditions in our first two days (out of four) and the waste of my time talking with this company on the phone. On balance, I would always ensure that I book a property from an owner rather than some faceless corporations, which provides substandard conditions and zero customer experience.

New, clean and beautifully furnished, plenty of space and convenient location. Amazing pizza restaurant and wine bar underneath. Parking was great. WIFI was great.

A huge clothes rail and brand new wardrobe provided but NO hangers. A lovely induction hob in the kitchen but sadly the set of saucepans and frying pans provided were NOT induction compatible so couldn't cook the food we had bought for the stay. No manual for the radiators so didn't have any heating in the bedrooms for the entire stay and it was 3 degrees outside. No hairdryer as promised and only one practical mirror in the entire flat. I made the management company aware of the lack of hangers/ cooking facilities and heating issues and although I had a very swift response from a lovely lady called Ivana and was asked to send photographs, absolutely nothing was done about it and we have now checked out. A real shame as it could be so much better with some small practical adjustments.
