Centrally Located 2Bed Flat With Balcony & Parking

Clean, all furniture and appliances in good condition, heating worked well (chilly December visit). Well located above a little supermarket, pharmacy, some cafes/restaurants. Could always find parking nearby, nice little flat!

Minor issues: Not enough hangers (about 4 between 3 guests) and nowhere to hang coats which means coming in on wet days becomes awkward. No internal door mat - same issue on wet days with wet shoes, makes the hall floor slippery which isn’t ideal and a minor safety issue. Walls between apartments not very sound proofed but our neighbours weren’t party animals so it was ok! Overall though, these are minor and it was a great base for our stay.

Back lane full of rubbish mostly from the shops supermarket we guessed but detracted hugely from the ambience of the flat which was great , but also the bin store for the flats was also in overflow of rubbish and had rats as a result, as cities do ,

I liked the location and the aesthetics of the property. It was almost great.

It wasn't very clean. Cooker was an induction but the pots were not compatible for it to work effectively. The stairwells were filthy. It was icy and nobody came to grit. Inconsistencies between properties. Broken hoover. Broken strips on entrance causing a trip hazard. No rugs. It won't let me add photos...

Well laid out apartment, shops downstairs were very convenient.

The heating in one of the bedrooms wasn't working for our entire stay, Friday-Sunday, during January, you can imagine how cold it was. Despite me calling and sending a picture of the heater as requested, there was no further response until I had checked out where they stated that they 'missed' the email that they had asked for.

The location was fantastic everything we needed was close. The apartments were really lovely. Well decorated, bright and airy.

The cleanliness let it down badly which was a great shame. The strip on the stair entrance was flapping causing a trip hazard. No rug to wipe feet on. Dirt under sofa cushions and behind sofa. Filthy window ledges on terrace. The entrance to the flat was filthy, littered with rubbish. Nobody gritted the floors when it was icy, my daughter had to do it as we were slipping over. The hot water kept running out, the cooker wasn't working properly we could only use 1 ring at a time. The white walls turned our clothes white and chalky if we leaned on it. The hoover was broken, inconsistent supplies, some had washing liquid and soap and some didn't, toilet paper ran out.. I messaged along the way but nothing was done only replies saying they were looking into things. Personally I would like the cleaning fee returned as they did not clean. We saw the cleaners one morning they were in and out in 20 minutes and that was cleaning 2 apartments... Who is checking!

Modern, good location with Tesco just below & easy to get to the city centre

Some other residents (above) were quite noisy at night playing loud music until early hours

P lease be careful the apartment is not fully prepared for the guests' visit the heating is not working we were with children we had to leave the stay early. We got too small a refund for an unsuccessful stay. A deposit was charged which we did not know about beforehand this information is not given specifically on the website.

New, had everything I cd wish for. Very comfortable, spacious.

Nothing. One problem due to icy conditions: the smooth paving stones of the outdoor walkway to the front doors of the flats (flat 4) was an ice rink. I used the plastic outdoor chair at the property as a skating zimmer frame to get to the lift; I messaged the company & they salted the walkway - but not the individual 'yards' in front of each flat! So I still had to use the chair/zimmer until I cd salt outside my front door myself. I hope next time it is icy they will respond immediately, as without the chair I sd have been trapped in the flat. I am 69.

The heater had no socket in the lounge so we couldn’t heat that room at all.
