Location from the tournament.
It was very expensive. The hotels increase the nightly rates during tournaments. It was dated and dirty. I would not stay here again.

Free breakfast
Smell of building upon first entering. totally overwhelming. Maybe cleaning chemicals, maybe mold cover up perfumes. Dirty floor , trash in the hallway. Remnants of white plastic bags (were they trash bags?). a broken black plastic table knife, and walked on breakfast food. The room has mold up the bathroom vent and shower ceiling. The carpet at the transition from hard floor to sleeping area is warn through and the under mat is visible. Trip hazard. The ice machine is exposed to contamination. Anybody could put bad things in the ice, glass, poison, drugs, even spit in the scoop if they wanted to. This need to be a drop down dispenser where the public does not have access to the ice.

I traveled to Palm Coast for business. The hotel exceeded my expectations in cleanliness and in the amenities. Nathan has awesome customer service skills and I commented his commitment to the organization.
My only issue was the mattress was a little too firm for my liking. A plusher one would have been great.
