Best Western Plus Flagler Beach Area Inn & Suites

The staff

Easy access for entry to the inside the hotel through the pool door. The door was not secure. The tv didn't have a guide to show the names of shows movie that are playing on TV.

The room was dimly lit which made it hard to head - even the instructions on the in room coffee pot

Property was fine location was fine for the purpose of my stay

The facility was rundown The bathroom within my room had mold around the tub the soap dish The breakfast 6-9 I went down at 8:20 there was very little eggs & dry along with what appeared to be fried eggs in another chaffing dish that resembled something you would find in a girls toy set, there was what seemed to be sausages that too was dry and disgusting When I asked a staff member if she is bringing more out, she just looked at me (probably didn’t speak English)

The staff was super friendly!!! Great location!!! Room was very nice!! Hot breakfast in the morning was superb!!!

The bed was definitely a little hard for my liking but with beds it's always a personal preference!!!

We are a family of four and we booked a room with double beds. My kids slept in one bed and woke up fine. My husband and I slept in the other bed and woke up a bit itchy but didn't think anything of it until the next day when we realized we were covered in bed bug bites!!! The bathroom door would not close all the way either which was not so great for privacy.

Breakfast was the same but as advertised and nice, never ran out of anything. All the employees I encountered were nice and welcoming and they tried to find acceptable solutions for my issues listed below. Beds were comfortable and the hot water lasted forever.

Our first night with record high temps the air conditioning in our room didn’t work and unfortunately the hotel was sold out so we couldn’t switch rooms. They brought us a floor drying fan to help cool down the room for the night since there is no on call maintenance and it didn’t help a lot however it was extremely loud so it was an extremely rough night. Upon checkout I was refunded for that initial bad night and they had it fixed the next day. Laundry facilities were also out of order when we inquired about them, they offered to do our laundry with the hotels items but we didn’t feel comfortable with that. At least they tried to find solutions for our issues so the staff was amazing for that.
